Here are the most recent healthcare related regulatory developments as published in the New Jersey Register on December 20, 2010:

On December 20, 2010 at 42 N.J.R. 3027, the Department of Health and Senior Services published notice of its proposed readoption of its rules governing death records. 

On December 20, 2010 at 42 N.J.R. 3034, the Department of Children and Families published notice of its proposed readoption with amendments to its rules and the proposal of new rules governing child protection investigations.  The proposed new rules will create a separate protocol for child protection investigations in institutional settings, including hospitals. 

On December 20, 2010 at 42 N.J.R. 3060, the Department of Banking and Insurance published notice of its adoption of amendments to its rules governing the small employer health benefits program to incorporate language required by the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
