Here are the most recent healthcare related regulatory developments as published in the New Jersey Register on December 6, 2010:

On December 6, 2010 at 42 N.J.R. 2890, the Department of Human Services published notice of its proposed readoption with amendments to its rules governing payment for advanced practice nurse services under Medicaid. 

On December 6, 2010 at 42 N.J.R. 2920, the Department of Banking and Insurance published notice of its proposed readoption with amendments to its rules governing the regulation of health insurance companies, health service corporations, hospital service corporations and medical service corporations to implement certain continuous quality improvement standards; modify certain provisions concerning network adequacy; and revise certain provisions to ensure compliance with the appeal procedures mandated by the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. 

On December 6, 2010 at 42 N.J.R. 2928, the Department of Transportation published notice of its readoption with amendments to its rules governing equipment for emergency vehicles, such as ambulances. 

On December 6, 2010 at 42 N.J.R. 2959, the Department of Human Services published notice of its adoption of amendments to its rules governing eligible health services under the Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief Fund Program.
